Details of Objects causing Violations

The Violation Details page provides access to all information that you may need to take action on violations. Information is provided through the following tabs making it easy to prioritize and understand the violations around this object.

The rule name itself is displayed as a hyperlink at the top of  the pop-up window if the signed-in user has the appropriate permissions and ownership to view the rule details. Click the rule name link to view the rule definition in read-only mode.

Users without the required permissions will see the rule name but the hyperlink will be deactivated. This tab also enables you to take action on the selected violation.
  • Reasons

This tab lists details of the violation being reviewed. For example, if the object causing the violation is a user then the By Role tab lists the roles assigned to the user and the Advanced view tab displays the detailed information such as the transaction codes, the authorizations assigned to the user generating violations.

This tab also enables you to take action on the selected violation.

  • Research

This tab provides information on two panels. The left panel contains details about the selected object in the form of Intellilinks or navigation options. For example, if the object selected is User, the left panel will list details such as roles assigned or transactions assigned. The right panel would contain general details about the user such as the user ID and the full name of the user.

If you clicked a roles assigned Intellilink on the left panel, the right panel would display all the roles assigned to that user as hyperlinks. Click any of the links to drill down into further details.

  • Other Violations

This tab provides the context of any other violations from rules owned by the signed in user to which this object may be contributing. If it is involved in other violations, a list of the rules and the associated risks are displayed.

For example, if you see two rules listed on this page, that means there is a violation for three rules in total. This information is useful in understanding the impact of a single object across your rules landscape and can be used to track down the cause of an issue.

  • Fields

This tab displays all information that Infor Risk & Compliance has captured for the object that generated violations. The tab lists all the fields extracted for the selected object and the field values.

Note: All the dates displayed on this page are according to the ERP time zone.
