Creating or editing a Compensating Control
Compensating controls can be used to mitigate violations. Use this page to create a compensating control, edit an existing compensating control, associate or dissociate a compensating control with a rule, and view the rules to which a compensating control is attached.
Note: Compensating control can also be created through the following
pages if you have the
required privileges:
- While creating a new rule.
- While assigning compensating controls to exclusion from the Document Exclusions page.
- While mitigating violations from the Violations Browser page.
- While mitigating violations generated for an SAP or a non-SAP request through the Violation Details page.
- While mitigating violations through specific violations reports on the Reports List page.
You can create a new compensating control and associate it with one or more rules.
