Create or Modify a User

New users can be created only if Certification Manager authentication is used. The New User page enables you to create new users in Certification Manager and assign them the required roles. This page also enables you to modify the existing Certification Manager users.

    User sign-in options for Certification Manager users depends on the authentication scheme used while installing Certification Manager. The 3 types of authentication schemes and their sign-in options are explained in the table below:
    Authentication Scheme User Sign in Options
    Active Directory (AD) Authentication Users can use their network user name and password, provided they are assigned a role in Certification Manager.
    IRC Application Security Users can use their IRC user name and password.
    Certification Manager (CM) Authentication Users can use their Certification Manager user name and password.
