Create or Modify a Custom Application Schema

A custom application schema in Certification Manager allows you to create custom data sources and import the required data into Certification Manager. This data may be imported through a custom CSV file , in the format shown below, or through an ODBC connection.

The New Application Schema page enables you :

  • Create a New Application Schema
  • Modify an Application Schema: Standard application schemas cannot be modified, whereas custom application schemas are displayed as hyperlinks. Modify a custom application schema as follows:
  1. On the Application Schemas page, click the required application schema. The page for that application schema opens.
  2. On the Basic Information tab, modify the description, if required.
  3. On the Objects tab, you may add new objects or delete objects that are already added.
  4. Certain object details can also be modified. Click the required object name link and modify the details on the page for that object.
  5. On the Review Types tab, you may add new review types or delete existing review types.
  6. The description of the review type and the reviewer group assigned to the review type  may also be modified on this tab. Click the required review type and modify the required details.
Note: Click the Enable Notifications icon to notify users via email about the events relevant to this task.
