Edit Panel Parameters

If you are a Super User or a Dashboard Manager in Certification Manager, you can use this page to edit graphs or panels. Parameters such as display options and data filters can be modified so that the required data is represented on the graph or the panel.

The parameters can be edited on the Modify Appearance tab and the Scope Data tab as explained below:

  • Modify Appearance Tab : The Modify Appearance tab enables you to modify the appearance of panels. The options selected here are specific to panels. You can edit the following on this tab:
    • Name and Description : If required, modify the name and the description of the panel.
    • Show Description : Select the Show Description check box to display the description of the panel. The description text can be helpful when you require further clarification to describe the content of the panel.
    • Enable Drill Down : The Enable drill down check box enables you to drill down to view further details about the graph or panel.

      The following graphs enable you to drill down to view further details:

      • Review Actions graph - Click on this graph to drill down to view the details on the To Do page.
      • Review Process Status graph - Click on this graph to drill down to view the details on the Active Reviews page.
    • Show Legend : The Show Legend check box enables you to label the data that is displayed on the panel.
    • Show Point Labels : Select this check box to display the specific values of each data point, directly on the graph or panel.
    • Axis Labels : Provide names for the X Axis and the Y Axis. If required, delete or modify the contents of the X Axis and theY Axistext box.
    • Type and Color : The Type and Color panel enables you to define the chart type and the graph color of a graph as follows:
      • Use the Chart Type drop-down list to define the type of graph.
      • Use the Graph color drop-down list to select the color of the graph. All bars in the panel are displayed in the same color.  
  • Scope Data Tab : The Scope Data tab enables you to define the data that must be represented in the graph. The data that you filter is specific to the panel. Edit the details on the following panels:
    • Data Source Based Filter : Use this filter to view the data for the required data sources. By default, all data sources are selected. To select the specific data sources, clear the All check-box and select the required data sources from the drop-down list.
    • Process Based Filters : This panel enable you to scope down the data that is related to processes as follows:
      1. Use the Process Type drop-down list to scope down the data displayed on panels or graphs according to the type of process. You can scope down the data further according to processes and their occurrences as follows:
        1. By default, the All check-box is selected under the Processes check-box. Alternatively, clear the check-box to select specific processes.
      2. Select the specific occurrences for the processes from the Occurrences drop-down list. Alternatively, select All check-box to select all the occurrences.
      3. In the Top n (Processes) field select the number of the processes that you want to view as top processes. For example, if you type the number 5 in the field; top five processes are displayed.
        Note:  This field is applicable when you select multiple processes in the Processes field.
      4. Use the Review Status field to filter the data according to the status of the review. By default, All check-box is selected. Clear the check-box If you want to scope down the data according to the review status. For example, Escalated or Overdue or both.  
    • Data Parameters Based Filters : Use these filters to view the data according to specific Process Owners and Reviewers.
      1. In the Process Owners field, all the process owners are selected by default. Clear the All check-box and select the required process owners to scope the data further.
      2. In the Reviewers field, by default, all the reviewers are selected. Clear the All check-box and select the required reviewers to scope the data further.
