Schedules

The Schedules page is a common interface to schedule Certification Manager tasks such as importing  data for the required data source, importing users and executing processes. You can also schedule a system downtime if you need to make the system unavailable to users temporarily.

All scheduled as well as executed Certification Manager tasks are displayed on this page. By default, the Schedules page is displayed as a grid where task names are displayed. However, tasks can be viewed based on date and time from the Calendar view page.

The following task details are displayed on this page:

  • The task name, type and the user who has created or modified the task.
  • The total time taken for the task to be completed. In case the task is scheduled to recur periodically, the time taken for the latest recurrence to be completed is displayed.
  • The information displayed in the Source column depends on the type of the task:
  • For a task to import data, the data sources from which the data is imported are displayed.
  • For a task to import users into Certification Manager, the source from where the users are imported is displayed. For example, if users are imported from IRC, this column displays the same.
  • For a task to execute processes, all the processes executed in the scheduled task are displayed.

To view the status of the tasks, hover your mouse over the icon next to the task. The icons indicate the status of the task.

  • Recurring tasks are indicated by the Recurring icon. Hover over this icon to view the selected recurrence option.
From this page you can:
  • Search for a scheduled task
  • View the latest status of tasks: Click the Refresh icon to refresh the status of the tasks displayed on this page. The date and time displayed on this tab is according to the local time zone configured on the Preferences page.
  • Create or modify a scheduled task
  • Delete a scheduled task: Select the check-box next to the scheduled task to be deleted and click the Delete icon.
