Use this screen to report a count for a physical inventory line.
If applicable, scan the lot number and container number. Depending
upon how you configured the Force to verify
lot and container parameter, the lot number, container number,
or both might be automatically specified and confirmed. The item number
and location for the current physical inventory line are displayed.
In the Quantity field, specify the
counted quantity. If the Verify quantity parameter has a value of
1, and you report a quantity that differs from the on-hand
quantity, you receive a warning message that the quantities do not match.
Note:
If the Suggest data for input field Quantity
parameter remains Blank, the on-hand balance (existing line) is displayed.
User can create a new quantity
line, after Location, Item, Lot and Container
fields are confirmed.
In the Catch Wt field, specify the
weight.
If needed, select Next to report the
counted quantity. Depending upon your parameter settings, the counted quantity might
be automatically reported when you confirm values in all required fields. After the
counted quantity is reported, the Search Phys Inv Line screen is displayed.
