Configuring Infor Framework Fax Service

For instructions on installing Infor Framework Fax Service, see the Installation Guide .

To configure Infor Framework Fax Service:

  1. Open the Intranets form and select the Reports/TaskMan tab.
  2. Specify this information:
    Fax Server
    Specify the name of your fax server machine.
    Fax Directory
    Specify the directory on the TaskMan server that was created during the installation of Infor Framework Fax Service: TaskMan_directory\Report\Fax

    In your path, replace TaskMan_directory with the path to Taskman.exe, which is normally C:\Program Files\Infor\AppName\TaskMan. The directory must exist.

    Fax Header
    Specify this header template: SendFax.exe -d "BG~OUTPUTFILE~" -n BG~FAXNUM~ -f "BG~ERRFILE~"
    Use Fax Control File
    Select this field.
    Fax Format
    Select Acrobat Format or Rich Text Format. These two formats are recommended starting points.
  3. Save your changes.
  4. On the TaskMan server, share the fax directory you specified here with the fax server you specified here.
