All Open Tab

The All Open tab in the Activities view displays all open (not completed) activities such as phone calls, meetings, to-dos and personal activities scheduled for the selected user or users.

The Participant Count column provides a count of all contacts or leads who are listed in the activity Participants tab and are therefore associated with the activity.

Note: Your calendar security determines whose activities you can schedule, edit, complete, accept/decline, or delete. You can also view activities associated with contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, or tickets that you can access.

On this page you can:

  • View all open activities:
    1. On the Activities view, click the All Open tab.
    2. If necessary, use the Task Pane to narrow the list.
    3. Click the activity's type to open the activity.
  • View or hide the details pane:
    1. Click Detail.
    2. Select a record. The Details pane displays at the bottom of the list view with detailed information about the selected record.
    3. To hide the Details pane, click Hide Detail.
  • View the summary panes:
    1. Click Summary.
    2. To return to the List view, click List.
  • Use the shortcut menu
  • Complete an activity:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • In the Summary view or Details pane click the Complete button for the activity you want to delete.
      • Select the activity you want to complete and in the Task Pane Common Tasks area click Complete Activity.
      • Right-click the activity you want to complete and select Complete Activity.
    2. Follow the steps for completing an activity.
  • Complete multiple activities
  • Delete an activity:
    1. Select the activity you want to delete.
    2. In the Task Pane Common Tasks area, Click the Delete Activity link.
    3. Click OK.
  • Delete multiple activities:
    1. Select the activities you want to delete.
    2. In the Task Pane Common Tasks area click the Delete Activity link.
    3. Click OK.
  • Schedule a phone call:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • In the Task Pane Common Tasks, under Schedule, click Phone Call.
      • Right-click in the grid, point to Schedule and click Phone Call.
    2. Follow the steps to schedule a phone call.
  • Schedule a meeting:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • In the Task Pane Common Tasks, under Schedule, click Meeting.
      • Right-click in the grid, point to Schedule and click Meeting.
    2. Follow the steps to schedule a meeting.
  • Schedule a to-do:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • In the Task Pane Common Tasks, under Schedule, click To-Do.
      • Right-click in the grid, point to Schedule and click To-Do.
    2. Follow the steps to schedule a to-do.
  • Schedule a personal activity:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • In the Task Pane Common Tasks, under Schedule, click Personal Activity.
      • Right-click in the grid, point to Schedule and click Personal Activity.
    2. Follow the steps to schedule a personal activity.
