Log-on

On the Log-on tab, you specify, how users log on to Application Studio WebServices. These options are available:

  • Allow Manual Log-on: If this check box is selected, the user must specify the log-on data, user name, and password. If the check box is cleared, log-on is only possible by Direct Link of Application Studio WebServices. Direct Link combines the log-on parameters to one URL which is the Direct Link proper.
  • Allow access to all Repositories: Users can log on to all repository databases when they use Application Studio WebServices.
  • Allow access to Repositories and all projects and report catalogs: To define, to which repository databases users can log on when they use Application Studio WebServices, select the check boxes of the repository databases. Users can access all projects and report catalogs of these repository databases.
  • Allow access to a selected Repository and selected projects and report catalogs: You can select one repository database, to which users can log on when they use Application Studio WebServices. To specify the project and the report catalog that users can access, select the repository database from the Repository drop-down list, click Connect and specify your log-on data. Then select the project and the report catalog from the Project and Report Catalog drop-down lists. To show the repository, the project, and the report catalog in the log-on dialog, select the Show at log-on check box.

For the settings of Application Studio WebServices to take effect, click the Restart Internet Information Services Server button.
