Editing and enabling filters

To edit a log filter, select Log Settings - User or Log Settings - Computer in the tree underneath the General Settings node, and click the Filter tab. Right-click a filter to use these commands:

New Creates a filter.

Enable/Disable Enables or disables selected filters. To enable or disable all filters, right-click Log Settings - User or Log Settings - Computer in the tree, and select Enable All Filters or Disable All Filters.
Delete Deletes selected filters.
Rename Renames the selected filter.
Properties Opens the Filter Properties dialog to change the name and the description and to select the events and the logging methods.

Note: Changes of an active filter immediately affect the logging. Very extensive logging may consume large portions of the system resources, for example, a filter that logs all events.
