Administering DataLink Models

Infor BI DataLink Server provides a dynamic link between a Windows data source and Microsoft Excel.

In Repository, the DataLink Service stores its permission data on project level in an additional model. You can manage the permissions for this model in the DataLink Model Permission Management view.

The DataLink model can be exported as part of a Repository application component:

You can use the BI Services Compatibility Check tool to check the selected repository database for Infor BI Services compatibility with respect to the DataLink model.
