Filtering the view

To filter the Basic groups, click Show/Hide Search on the toolbar and specify the filter criteria:

  • Specifying the names of Basic groups: Use the character * (asterisk) as wildcard for an arbitrary number of characters. Use the separator | (pipe), to search for multiple names. Example: *a*|*x*. All Basic groups are shown, which have a or x in the name.
  • Selecting object categories: Select these check boxes, to specify the objects that are shown:
  • System objects: Basic groups, which are used for internal processes or for data exchange between the Basic components, for example, the group Every SSO User. By default, these objects are not shown.
  • Default objects: Basic groups which are part of the default database, for example, the groups Report Designer and Report Viewer.
  • User-defined objects: Basic groups, which you have created.

Click Search, to refresh the view. Click Reset, to show all objects.

Note: The System objects check box is only available, if the option Show system objects in the Options dialog is selected.
