Copying cell properties

Office Plus supports the Microsoft Excel Paste Special function in Formula reports. Use Paste Special to specify which properties of a copied cell to paste. For example, copy a cell which contains a formula but paste only the value returned by the formula.

To use Paste Special:

  1. Copy a cell.
  2. Right-click the cell in which to paste the value and select Paste Special.
  3. Select an option from the Paste Special dialog.
Note:  In Ad-hoc and Alea Ad-hoc reports, the Ctrl+Shift+M shortcut is equivalent to Paste Special > Values. Any formulas or values in the target cells are replaced by the pasted values.
