Modifying the display of attribute tables

In the Dimension Browser, you can hide attributes, specify the column widths of an attribute table, and change the order in which attributes are displayed.

To modify the display of attribute tables:

  1. In the Dimension Browser, double-click the dimension that contains the attribute table to modify.
  2. Click the Attribute Tables button and select the attribute table to modify.
  3. To hide an attribute, right-click its column heading and select Hide Column.
    You can also hide attributes in the Configure Columns dialog.
  4. To specify the width of a column, right-click the column heading and select Column Width. Speicfy the width and click OK.
  5. To change the order in which attributes are displayed, click the Configure Columns button. Use the up and down arrows to change the order of the columns and click OK.
  6. Save your changes.
    Caution: If the Save Attribute Table Layout button is enabled, you must click it to save your changes. If the button is enabled but you close the Dimension Browser without clicking it, your changes will not be saved. If the button is not enabled, Save attribute table layout has been selected in the Options dialog and your changes are saved automatically.
