The Splasher dialog

The Command section

The Splasher dialog is enabled in View Mode if there is one or more writeback formula in a report.

Here you select the distribution method and enter the value to be written back. If you choose the commands COPY or COPYCUBE, you cannot enter any value, because you are copying existing values.

The Target section

This section shows the coordinates of the target cell (the cell from which you opened the Splasher dialog). The operations to change the value apply to this cell. Changed values are distributed to the base elements according to the mode you select.

The Source section

In this section you specify the source cell used to change the value in the target cell.

Note: This section is only active, when you use the commands LIKE, COPY and COPYCUBE.

Cube drop-down list

Here you choose the cube of the source area. This list is only active when you use the COPYCUBE command.

Section box: elements

Here you specify the source area. This section box is only active when you use the commands LIKE, COPY or COPYCUBE. Click an element in the Element column to specify a slice element of the source area. Or double-click the slice element, press <F2>, and select the element from the drop-down list.
