Formatting chart axes

You can format the X and Y chart axes in the Format Axis. For example, you can specify the color of the axes, and the scale markers.

To display the Format Axis dialog box:

  1. In Design Mode, double-click the chart. A hashed border is displayed.
  2. Double-click the chart axis to format, or right-click it and select Format Legend.

For all chart types except, Pie, Doughnut and Tachometer, the Format Axis dialog box has these tabs:

  • Line
  • Scaling
  • Font
  • Number
  • Alignment

The axes of Milestone charts have an additional tab.
