Defining the search criteria for Kanban parts

Use this page to specify the search criteria for the Kanban parts to be displayed on the Existing Parts page.

  1. Select Demand > Kanban > Define Parts.
  2. Specify this information:
    Supplier
    The name of the supplier responsible for supplying the part.
    Facility
    The name of the location from where the demand for the parts is raised.
    Ship To
    The location at which the parts are received.
    Part
    The code of the part. This value is defaulted from the Part Number field on the Part Information page.
    Note:  The parts for which the Kanban signal information is defined are displayed.
    Planner
    The name of the customer user (planner) who manages the Kanban part inventory.
  3. Click Search. The Existing Parts page is displayed.
