Adding or modifying Defective Material Notice Source Code

Use this page to add or modify the defect source code for the Defective Material Notices (DMNs).

  1. Select Defective Materials > Set Up DMN Codes.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
    Note:  Set the Code Type field to Source.
  3. Click Submit. The Defect Source Codes list page is displayed.
  4. Click Add in the Code List section. The Defect Source Codes detail page is displayed. To modify an existing source code, click the Edit option corresponding to the code.
  5. Specify this information:
    Code
    The code that indicates the source of the defect.
    Reason
    The description of the source of defect.
  6. Click Save. The Defect Source Codes list page is displayed.
