Configuration

You can configure SSC to use decoupled driver processes by using Configuration Manager (CGM).

Select «SSC» > «Remote Process» to view the properties.

The driver types used by SSC when executing transactions are:

  • DJI
  • Export
  • SASI.

Each driver uses the same three property types: remote, time and timeout.

Property type Property Description
remote DJI Run Separate This property controls whether the DJI driver should run as a separate process. Select Yes to run as a separate process.

The default value is No.

time DJI Recycle Schedule Specify the time it takes to recycle the DJI driver process. The absolue time is specifed using the 24 hour clock format. For example, specify 25 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds as [25]:59:59.

Minimum value: 00:00

Maximum value: 23:59

There is no installation default If specified, this property overrides the DJI Recyle Timeout.

timeout DJI Recycle Timeout Specify, in minutes, the time it takes to recycle the DJI driver process.

Minimum value: 10

Maximum value: unlimited Installation default = 360 (6 hours)

The default value is 360.

This property is overidden by the DJI Recycle Schedule.

Considerations in the use of time and timeout

If you wish to set driver recycling for a specific time, set the time property value.

If you wish to set driver recycling to happen after a particular time interval has passed, set the timeout property value.

Whilst you can have both properties active at the same time, the time property takes precedence. For example, you can schedule driver recycling at midnight, or when system activity is low and configure SSC to recycle driver processes every 3 hours, to deliver optimum performance.
