Configuring system logging for SunSystems sessions

Specify system logging properties for SunSystems sessions:

1. Open «Configuration Manager (CGM)».
2. Select «System Logging» > «Session».
3. Configure the machine settings:

   Scope

   Select the servers for which the machine settings are relevant. To apply machine settings to all servers, select DEFAULT. To apply machine settings to a specific server, select the server name. The default value is DEFAULT.

   Session Log File Location

   Specify the location of the session log. The default value is %(SunSystems\install.AppDataLocation)%\Logs\COBOL

4. Configure the system settings:

   Session Logging Level

   Specify how much information is written to the Session log. This table shows the logging options and the type of information included with each option:

   Option	Description
   ALL	All messages are included.
   DEBUG	All messages are included. Extra information, required for debugging, is also included.
   ERROR	Only error messages are included.
   NONE	No information is included.

   The default value is ERROR.

5. Save your changes.
