Editing planning hierarchies

To edit a planning hierarchy:

  1. Select Configuration > Common > Planning Hierarchy.
  2. Select a planning hierarchy.
  3. On the Planning Hierarchies page, you can:
    Option Description
    Edit To edit an existing planning hierarchy, click the Details icon, and in the details pane, click Edit. You can only modify the display names and the information on the Levels, Sets, and Attributes tabs.
    Duplicate To create a new planning hierarchy based on an existing one, select the appropriate hierarchy, and click Duplicate.
    New Click New in the details pane to add a new planning hierarchy level.
    Delete Click Delete in the details pane to delete an existing planning hierarchy level.
    Note: You can also:
    • Edit the existing fields. However, the Type field is not editable.
    • Move or edit the planning hierarchy. In the details pane:
      • Click Move Up or Move Down.
      • Edit the Parent Attribute and Spreading Factor Attribute fields.
  4. Click Submit.
