Adding transactional data from a worksheet
You can add the transactional data for a measure, from the worksheet.
Note: You can add the transaction data only if:
- The measures required to enable the transactional data option, are defined for the worksheet. For example, a worksheet for which measures are defined and displayed using the Advanced Pivot Editor (the editor is a type of report definition in the CloudSuite SCP repository).
- The transactional data measure is enabled for the cycle period in the current data context.
To add the transactional data:
- Access the worksheet from one cycle, module or cycle and module.
- Right-click a measure and select Add Transactions.

On the Transactional Data (New) page, specify this information:
- Name
- Specify the name of the transactional data.
- Measure
- Specify the measure based on which transactional data is defined.
- Item
- The item for the transactional data record. You can select the item from the list of base-level items defined for the current data context. Each transactional data record is stored at a base item, location, and date (day) level.
- Location
- The location where the transactional data is stored. You can select the location from the list of base-level locations defined for the current data context. Each transactional data record is stored at a base item, location, and date (day) level.
- To Date
- Specify the date when the transactional data is defined.
- Quantity
- Specify the value of the transactional data record.
- Reference
- Specify the reference text related to the transactional data record.
- Note
- Specify the information related to the transactional data.
- From Measure
- The From (source) measure of the transactional data.
Note: You can view this field only if the transactional data type is Transfer.
- From Item
- The From (source) item of the transactional data.
Note: You can view this field only if the transactional data type is Transfer.
- From Location
- The From (source) location of the transactional data record.
You can select the location from the list of base-level locations based on the
data security settings defined for the user.
Note: You can view this field only if the transactional data type is Transfer.
- From Date
- The From (ship/release) date of the transactional data and
the time taken to transfer the data from the
From Location to the
Location.
Note: You can view this field only if the transactional data type is Transfer.
- Need Date
- The estimated required date of the order.
Note:- You must specify this value for records that are imported or generated using the Replenishment Engine.
- This value must be same as the To Date for records that are created manually.
- Critical Flag
- Indicates the criticality of the transactional
data. Possible values:
- Expedite
- Defer
- None
Note:- This value must be set to None for manually created records.
- For records that are imported or generated manually, you can set this field to any of the above value.
- Custom fields
- Additional text used as reference for the transactional data record. This field is displayed, based on the configuration of the transactional data definition.
- Click Save.
