Specifying a default template

The default template is used if a template that is specific to the recipient's locale or site cannot be identified. If a template has already been designated as the default template, a Default label is displayed on the template card.

  1. From the menu, click Notification Types. .
  2. On the card for the notification type that contains the template that you want to set as the default, click Details.
  3. Click the link next to the Default label. If a default template has already been specified, the notification channel name is used as the link. If a default template has not been specified, then the Not Set link is displayed. Click the link.
  4. To select a user-defined template as the default template, click the Templates tab. To select a pre-designed template, click the Pre-Designed tab.
  5. Click the template. A check box is displayed on the template.
  6. Click Save.
