Create Scenario Part

  1. Open a Dataset or a favorite view.
  2. In the pivot sheet, select the cell(s) you want to change. Right-click and select Calculate Cells.
    The Definition of Scenario/Scenario Part dialog box is displayed.
  3. In Part Type, there are two activities.
    Select the links for instructions on how to use.
  4. In Basic Calculation or Advanced Calculation, select the Operator, Amount, Column, and Distribution Method.
  5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
    The changes can be seen in the pivot sheet. The changed cells are displayed with a colored background. The Tool tips provide details about the changes.
    Note: Changes are made at the aggregated level. The changes will be distributed pro rata to the underlying cells. Select whether you want to make basic calculations or advanced calculations prior to creating your Scenario Part.
