Creating a scenario part

  1. Open a dataset or a favorite view.
  2. On the pivot sheet, select the cells that require a change.
  3. Right-click and select Calculate Cells.
    The Definition of Scenario/Scenario Part dialog box is displayed.
  4. On Part Type, select the appropriate option from the two activities.
    Click the links for instructions on how to use the options.
  5. On Basic Calculation or Advanced Calculation, select the Operator, Amount, Column, and Distribution Method.
  6. Click OK.
    You can see the changes in the pivot sheet. The changed cells are displayed with a colored background. The tool tips provide details about the changes.
    Note: Apply changes at the aggregated level. Distribute changes proportionally to the underlying cells. Select an option to perform basic or advanced calculations before you create your scenario part.
