About purging BOD information

The BOD Information table collects certain BOD data from incoming BODs. This data constantly builds up and, over time, could cause performance issues. For this reason, system administrators should periodically use this form to purge information from that table. A background task can be set up to perform this function automatically.

Note: If you set up a background task, use the Increment Date option on the Purge BOD Information form to reset the date on which the next purge should occur.

For example, if you put in a date that is 16 days ago and select the Increment Date option and run it in the background as a daily task, then every day the system will run with that parameter recalculated as 16 days before the current date.
