General Application Updates

Straight SRO Copy

We added a new field to the Quick SRO Create form. Select Allow Item Substitution when you want to copy an existing service order and override the items that are currently attached to that service order. This feature is especially useful when you want to copy an existing service order but it has a large quantity of items attached to it.

Rental Best Rates

We added functionality to the rental process that allows you to find a better rate when checking in rental items. Click the new Calculate Better Rates button on the Rental Check In form to open the new Rental Best Rates modal form. The new form lists the best rental rates for each contract line. After selecting better rates, the new Original Rate fields are updated on the Contract Lines form.

User control removals

To support cloud compatibility, we removed these user controls:

  • Spell check
  • Import/export option on the Item Purchase Cost Import/Export form

We removed the Centralized User Dictionary field from the General Parameters form, which was previously used for the spell check control. On the Item Purchase Cost Import/Export form, we removed the Filename field, Browse button, Import button, and Error tab. You can now use the Paste Rows Append Action menu item to import rows from a spreadsheet.

Service order deposits

We improved the Service Order Deposits form by adding the ability to filter by customer name or order number. We also added Applied Amount and Remaining Amount fields to provide visibility into how much of a deposit has been applied.
