Sample Rules for AI for Infor

You can create two basic types of rules for Authorizations Insight for Infor:

  • Conflicts
  • Sensitive condition

Depending on your business needs, you can build rule conditions for any of the Infor-enabled ERP systems. You can select Role or Permission as the object for these rule conditions.

If Permission is selected as the object, you have the following options:

  • Build the rule condition with Permission only
  • Build the rule condition with Permission and Values

Conflict rule

Conflict rules state that a single user cannot be assigned two Permission that conflict each other.

  • Rule Book Name: SunSystems_AI_Accounts Receivable
  • Rule Control Number: SunSystems_AI_AR0001
  • Rule Name: Create Maintain Dispatch Note versus Confirm Dispatch Note
  • Rule Type: Sensitive or Conflicts Rule
  • Object: Permission
  • Build the rule condition

Sensitive rule

Sensitive rules state that certain activities in the ERP application are sensitive and can be performed by authorized users only.

  • Rule Book: SunSystems_AI_Accounts Receivable
  • Rule Name: Create Maintain Dispatch Note
  • Rule Type: Sensitive or Conflicts Rule
  • Object: Permission
  • Build the rule condition
Note: While building rule conditions for Permission, if a Permission contains multiple descriptions in the drop-down, the description corresponding to the selected Permission is added to the rule condition.
