Create a new Parameter

Parameters can be created for Insights or for Infor Risk & Compliance.
  • Create Parameters for Insights
    Create a new parameter as follows:
    1. Provide a friendly or descriptive name for the parameter. This name must be unique. It should not contain any spaces or special characters.
    2. From the Insight drop-down list select an Insight. The drop-down list displays all installed Insights. The Insight selected determines the values available for selection in the Technical Name field.
    3. In the Technical Name field, click the Browse icon to browse for an object. From the Browse Values page, select the object you require and click OK.
      Note: In case of Authorizations Insight for SAP, the Technical Name field displays the attributes to be selected.
    4. When you select an object, the attributes field is displayed. The drop-down list displays attributes for the object selected. Select the attribute you require.
    5. In the Options field, select the Allow Multiple Values check box to add multiple values to the parameter.
      Note: For the Oracle ERP, if duplicate Profile Options values are present then one value must be added in Parameter List.
    6. Click Save.
      Note: Parameters once created, cannot be edited. To change parameter details, you must delete the parameter and create a new one.
  • Create Parameters for Infor Risk & Compliance
    To create parameters for Infor Risk & Compliance:
    1. Provide a friendly or descriptive name for the parameter. This name must be unique. It should not contain any spaces or special characters.
    2. From the Insight drop-down list, select Infor Risk & Compliance.
    3. In the Technical Name field, select e-mail. If you configure and enable email notification, the selected users will be notified each time a parameter is created.
    4. If the Insight selected in the Insight drop-down list is Authorizations Insight for SAP, the Options panel will display the Mark for Exclusion check box.  If required, select the check box. Parameters marked for exclusion are available while creating an exclusions list.
    5. In the Options field, select the Allow Multiple Values check box to add multiple values to the parameter.
    6. Click Save.
      Note: Parameters once created, cannot be edited. To change parameter details, you must delete the parameter and create a new one.
