Creating a functional area

You can create functional areas to be used in approval process as well as to define emergency access roles. When used in approval processes, functional areas ensure that requests are routed to the correct approvers without the limitation of hard coding approvers in approval process templates. If emergency access to a role is required, functional areas ensure that users assign themselves the correct role.

• Create new Functional Area
• Modify a Functional Area

  On the Functional Area page, click the link of the functional area to be modified. The page for that functional area will be displayed. Make the required changes and click Save.
