Removing branches from a chart

You can remove summary accounts and their related children from a chart of accounts. The removed accounts are still available to attach to any chart.

  1. Select Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Finance Enterprise Group > Maintenance.
  2. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Chart tab.
  3. Open the chart and click the Hierarchy tab.
  4. Select the summary account, then select Actions > Remove Branch.
  5. Click Yes to confirm.
