Removing the chart hierarchy

You can remove summary accounts and their related children from a chart of accounts. The removed accounts are still available to attach to any chart.

  1. Select Application Administration > Financials > Global Ledger > Setup > Maintenance > Finance Enterprise Group.
  2. Open the finance enterprise group and click the Chart tab.
  3. Open the chart and click the Hierarchy tab.
  4. Select the summary account, then select Actions > Remove Branch.
  5. Click Yes to confirm.
