Checking component availability

You can view component availability at any time to perform these tasks:

  • Verify that there are enough components available to produce a specific kit quantity
  • Inquire about how many kit items can be produced based on component availability
  1. Sign in as Item Master Specialist and select Manage Kit Items And View Components.
  2. On the Kit Items tab, click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Item Group
    Select the item group.
    Company
    Specify the company.
    Location
    Specify the location of the item.
    Kit Item
    Specify the kit item.
    Make Code
    Select whether the kits are made to order or stocked. If Make to Stock is selected, additional tabs are available.

  4. Click Save.
