You can view KPIs and other information about items and locations on the Inventory Intelligence Home page. This table shows the panes that are available:
Pane Description
Top Increase Candidates Shows the list of items that received a recommendation which resulted in increased cost.
Top Decrease Candidates Shows the list of items that received a recommendation which resulted in decreased cost. This list is sorted in descending order by savings.
Top Removal Candidates Shows the list of items that were marked as candidate for removal. This list is sorted in descending order by inventory value.
Potential Change Shows aggregated inventory value and KPIs for all locations for which you have security access:
  • Reference value: Inventory value of the items at the start of the recommendations run.
  • Target value: Inventory value of the items at this location if the recommendations or overrides are approved and sent.
  • Removal value: Inventory value of all items marked as candidate for removal.
  • Potential change: Summed up Potential increase and decrease values.
  • Potential increase: Change in inventory value for all items which received an recommendation which resulted in increased cost.
  • Potential decrease: Change in inventory value for all items which received an recommendation which resulted in decreased cost.
Perpetual Locations and Par Locations Shows information from Potential Change. The panes are Perpetual and Par Item. Count is the number of items and Value is the inventory value:
  • All: Shows all items.
  • Increase: Shows items that received a recommendation that resulted in increased cost.
  • Decrease: Shows items that received an recommendation that resulted in decreased cost.
  • Total change: Shows summed values of Increase and Decrease.
  • Removal: Shows items that are marked as candidate for removal.
Adjustment History graph View snapshot of inventory values for accepted recommendations for engine runs where such a change occurred. Engine runs without any accepted recommendations are skipped and not shown. These inventory values are displayed for each run:
  • Perpetual Cost: Sum of accepted changes of increased perpetual items
  • Perpetual Savings: Sum of accepted changes of decreased perpetual items
  • Par Cost: Sum of accepted changes of increased par items
  • Par Savings: Sum of accepted changes of decreased par items
Cumulative History graph View cumulative changes in inventory value accepted recommendations.

Example:

In the first run, you accept increase in reorder point for single perpetual item from 10 to 15. In second run, you accept decrease for same items from 15 to 8. In the third run, you accept the increase from 8 to 12.

For this example, assume that the inventory value is equal to the reorder point.

Result is that for first run Perpetual Cost is 5 and Perpetual Savings 0. For second run Perpetual Cost is 0 and Perpetual Savings is 2. For third run Perpetual Cost is 2 and Perpetual Savings is 0.

Graph is sum of cost and savings values across all perpetual and par locations.

Cumulative Change View the same cumulative values as the Cumulative History graph, except this one is grouped by locations and only for the latest run.

Locations are sorted in descending order of cumulative savings.
