Potential Change Shows the aggregated inventory value and KPIs for all locations for which you have security access:
  • Reference value - Inventory value of the items at the start of the recommendations run.
  • Target value - Inventory value of the items at this location if the recommendations or overrides are approved and sent.
  • Removal value - Inventory value of all items marked as candidate for removal.
  • Potential change - Summed up potential increase and decrease values.
  • Potential increase - Change in inventory value for all items with a recommendation that resulted to increased costs. .
  • Potential decrease - Change in inventory value for all items with a recommendation that resulted to decreased costs.
Perpetual Locations and Par Locations Shows the information from Potential Change. The panes are Perpetual and Par Item. Count is the number of items and Value is the inventory value:

  • Increase - Shows the items with a recommendation that resulted to increased costs.
  • Decrease - Shows the items with a recommendation that resulted to decreased costs.
  • Total change - Shows the total value of Increase and Decrease.
  • Removal - Shows the items that are marked as candidate for removal.
Adjustment History View the snapshot of inventory values for accepted recommendations for engine runs where such a change occurred. Recommendations that are not accepted are skipped and not shown. These inventory values are displayed for each run:
  • Perpetual Cost - Sum of the accepted changes of increased perpetual items
  • Perpetual Savings - Sum of the accepted changes of decreased perpetual items
  • Par Cost - Sum of the accepted changes of increased par items
  • Par Savings - Sum of the accepted changes of decreased par items
Cumulative History View the cumulative changes in inventory value accepted recommendations.

Example:

In the first run, you accept the increase in reorder point for a single perpetual item from 10 to 15. In the second run, you accept decrease for same items from 15 to 8. In the third run, you accept the increase from 8 to 12.

For this example, assume that the inventory value is equal to the reorder point.

The result is that for the first run, the Perpertual Cost is 5 and Perpetual Savings is 0. For the second run, the Pertual Cost is 0 and Perpetual Savings is 2. For the third run, the Perpetual Cost is 2 and Perpetual Savings is 0.

The graph is the sum of the cost and savings values across all perpetual and par locations.

Cumulative Change View the same cumulative values as the Cumulative History graph, but grouped by locations and only for the latest run.

Locations are sorted in descending order of cumulative savings.
