Requisition statuses

Requisitions are created with a Draft status. After requisitions are approved, their status is Pending. Before job postings for a requisition can be created, it must have a status of Open.

The requisition status denotes its stage in the creation, approval, and hiring process:

  • Draft - The requisition has been started but was not finished.
  • Approval Requested - The requisition is in a draft status and has been submitted for approval.
  • Pending - The requisition has been approved.
  • Open - The requisition has been opened from a Pending status. Postings for this requisition can be created on job boards.
  • On-Hold - The requisition has been put on-hold. Job postings associated with requisitions in On-Hold status are removed from the job boards, but can be opened again.
  • Filled - A candidate has been hired for the requisition. Changes to the requisition can no longer be mad. Job postings for the requisition can be removed and the requisition can be closed.
  • Cancelled - The requisition has been cancelled and the job postings for the requisition have been removed.
  • Closed - The requisition has been closed because the position has been filled. Requisitions in a Filled status can be closed.
