Integration with Other Applications
Applications that are based on the Mongoose framework can integrate with other applications using a variety of methods, including but not limited to these:
- Point-to-point access using web services.
See the Mongoose REST Web Services Guide.
- Business Object Documents (BODs) that are passed through ION to the
other application.
See the help topics about replication and BODs, as well as the application's Configuration Guide for .
- Point-to-point access through ION APIs.
See the application's Configuration Guide for .
- XML documents other than BODs. The Mongoose-based application can use non-transactional replication to
send formatted files to a designated “site” for transfer to the other application.
See the Infor Mongoose Replication Reference Guide.
- • Direct IDO communication with the other application. For example,
you can connect to Infor Document Management (IDM) by specifying the application
URL, login, and authentication information using the External App Parameters form.
See the application's Configuration Guide for .
