Resources

Use this form to define resources (machines) in FT and link them to the appropriate Kepware folder name (if the machine is integrated).

The form displays this information:

Resource ID

The machine resource linked to the FT application.

Resource Group

The Work Center to which the Machine is linked in the FT application.

Can Assign to Jobs

If this check box is selected, the specified machine can be assigned to tasks in FT.

From ERP

If this check box is selected, the machine is downloaded using the native ERP system.

Schedule ID

The Working Time Schedule assigned to this machine.

Status

The current status of the server ID. Possible values are:

• Running
• Down
• Idle

Using Machine Integration

If this chec kbox is selected, the specified machine is integrated in the ERP system.

Note: If this check box is selected, the machine integration fields are enabled.

1. Machine Server: The internal FT Name of the Machine Controller Server.
2. Machine Channel: The Project Name specified on the Kepware Server.
3. Controller Folder Name: The Device Name on the Kepware server that includes the machine tags.
4. Polling Interval: The default polling interval on the Machine Server expressed in milliseconds.
5. Tag Regen Time Interval: The time expressed in minutes that all the tag values must be copied to the historical file for this resource. The default value is set to 1 hour.
6. Last Regen: The date and time when all tag values are saved to the historical tag file.
7. Archive Tag Time Interval: The time interval during which the tag information must be saved for this machine prior to the archived operation. The default value is set to 1 week. The time unit is days.
8. Last Archived: The date and time of the last archiving operation for this selected machine.
9. Activity Tag explanation - Specify the tag and value that must be updated on the machine when the specified activity is performed in FT.
