Creating User Fields To create a user field: On the UET User Fields form, select Actions > New. Specify this information: User Field Name Specify a unique name, prefixed with uf, to define a user field. The uf prefix is not case sensitive, so you can specify something like Uf_Category , uf_Category, or UF_Category as a user field name. User Data Type Select a user data type to define the new user field. Data Type Select a standard SQL Server data type for the user field. Precision Specify the number of alphanumeric characters that can be entered in the user field. Decimals If you selected Decimal in the Data Type field, enter the number of decimal places available in the user field. Initial Value Specify the initial value you wish to display in the user field.
