Creating a component class based on a component

To create a new component class based on a component:

1. With a form open and in Design Mode, create a component or select a component that does not inherit from a component class.
2. In the “Component” property sheet, specify for the “Component Class” property the name of the new component class.
3. To confirm that you want to create a new component class, click “OK”.
4. Select the “Set Class From” property, and then click the ellipses (...) button.
5. Click “Yes”.
