Dispatch List Report
Use this report to display the demand assignments for a molding resource (or for all resources in a group) in the sequence in which they should be performed on the shop floor. To specify that the Scheduling activity should capture this information, you must select the Schedule Data field on the Resources form for each resource you want to track.
For each demand the molding resource is working on within the specified resource type, resource, and range of dates, the report displays this information:
- Start and End date of the demand. If you changed the sequence of operations on the Resource Sequencing or Resource Group Sequencing forms, the start and end dates will not be accurate on this report.
- Job Type, for example, job, estimate, or production schedule release.
- Operation ID.
- Job-Job Suffix, which is the ID of the demand and suffix, if defined.
- Job status.
- Mold fixture, insert, or track
- Load ID. This value is usually 1, unless you are using split or overlapping operations. In that case, this field displays the ID of the load in which this portion of the job quantity resides).
- Load quantity, which is the demand quantity or portion of the demand quantity, if the operation is split or overlapping.
- Days Slack, which is the job Projected Date minus the job End Date. The job End Date depends on the setting of the Use Scheduled Times in Planning field on the Planning Parameters form. If that field is not selected, then the job End Date is the End Date field from the Job Orders form. If the field is selected, the job End Date is the Job End Date that is calculated by the Scheduler, which is displayed on several forms such as Demand Summary Scheduler.
- Quantity at WC, which is the quantity calculated from these values on the operation's Accumulated Values tab: Received - Scrapped - Moved.
- Work center assigned to the previous operation and next operation.
Usually you generate this report after you run the Scheduler for the day. Then provide it to your shop floor to execute your schedule.
