Clearing the IDO metadata cache

In IDO development, you can clear the IDO metadata cache to ensure that you see the results of the current, edited metadata. WinStudio can be set to clear the cache each time you use the Unload All Global Form Objects command.

To clear IDO metadata when you unload global form objects:

  1. From the View menu, select Settings.
  2. Select the Run Time tab.
  3. Select Unload IDO metadata along with global objects.

    When you unload global form objects, the IDO metadata cache is cleared.

Note: With the IDO Runtime Development Server, select Discard IDO Metadata Cache on the Configuration menu to clear IDO metadata without clearing global form objects.
