Binding a component to a variable

1. With a form open and in Design Mode, select a component.
2. On the [Component] property sheet, click [Binding], and then click the ellipsis (...) button.
3. In the [Type] field, select [Variable].
4. Click [Edit].
5. In the [Variable] field, select the name of a variable.
6. Click [OK].
