Expected Receipts APS

Use this form to identify a purchased item that you expect to be delivered early. During APS planning, the expected date specified on this form will define the earliest date that the operation in which the item is listed will be planned. Because the purchased item limits when the operation can begin, if that operation also lists other items, those items, and their components, will be planned relative to the new date for the purchased item.

Note: Although the intent of this form is to define receipts of purchased items that are earlier than normal, there is no limitation preventing you from entering a receipt date later than normal. However, we recommend that you use the Earliest Planned Purchase Receipt item parameter to indicate a receipt date that is later than normal.
