Deployment

The Deployment form is used primarily to create deployable zip packages for Mongoose-based applications/applets and then to deploy the apps on the target systems.

As such, it has two basic sections on the Detail view (bottom portion of the form):

Export Applet - This section is used in the source environment to make settings for the app scripts that are to be created and packaged (zipped) for deployment.
Deploy Applet - This section is used in the target environment--that is, the configuration where you want to deploy the application--to import a zip package for the app.

Note: This form can be used to create and deploy only apps that employ XML scripts. If you want to create and deploy apps that incorporate SQL scripts, you must use the Mongoose Deployment Scripting Utility (MDSU).
