Content development

This topic describes the content development improvements in this release.

Dynamic attributes in slice filters in Application Studio

You can now use dynamic attributes in filters and for sorting in slices and their axes. This adds flexibility when you build reports in Application Studio 11.0.

Hide content connection button in Infor BI Dashboards

The content connection toolbar buttons that give users access to reports and widgets can now be hidden. This option is set under the Content Connections settings in Infor BI Dashboards. You can use this option to give users access to the dashboards but not to the individual widgets.

If the button is hidden, it remains so when a content connection is exported and imported.

User-defined output in Infor BI Q&A

User-defined output enables you to include your own calculated output within the output of a worksheet query in Microsoft Excel when using Q&A. For example, if a query outputs a figure for sales and a figure for variable costs, you can create a user-defined output to display the gross margin (sales minus variable costs).
