Filtering the view

To filter users and groups, click Show/Hide Search on the toolbar and specify the filter criteria:

  • Specifying the names of users or groups: Use the character * (asterisk) as wildcard for an arbitrary number of characters. Use the separator | (pipe), to search for multiple names. Example: *a*|*x*. All users or groups are shown, who have a or x in the name.
  • Selecting object types and authentication systems: Select the check boxes User and Groups and the check boxes of the authentication systems, for example, Basic or Windows, to specify the objects that are shown:
  • Selecting object categories: Select these check boxes, to specify the objects that are shown:
    • System objects: Users and groups, which are used for internal processes or for data exchange between the Infor BI components, for example, the user AleaInternal. By default, these objects are not shown.
    • Default objects: Users and groups which are part of the default database, for example, the users Admin and Guest.
    • User-defined objects: Users and groups, which you have created.
  • Selecting permissions: Select the check boxes of the permissions, to specify the objects that are shown.

Click Search, to refresh the view. Click Reset, to show all objects.

Note: The System objects check box is only available, if the option Show system objects in the Options dialog is selected.
