Specifying database object types for the history
To specify the database object types, for which history data in Repository are saved, enable or disable the check box Enabled in the column next to the object type in the Manage History Data dialog. To enable or disable all check boxes, click Enable All or Disable All.
Caution: If you are not sure which database object types should
be saved in history, as a rule of thumb, let the
Infor BI
applications determine automatically the objects types to be saved.
This table shows the database object types of the history that are currently used by Application Studio:
Database object types | Description |
---|---|
ReportingFolder | The object is a folder. |
ReportingReport | This is the report object itself, that is, the definition of the report. |
ReportingReportVariable | This object type represents a report variable definition, not the value itself. |
ReportingScript | This object type represents the definition of a script (script code, etc.). |
ReportingReportScript | This object type represents the mapping between a report and a script, that is, a ReportingScript object. |
ReportingPOV | This object type represents the Point of View (POV) definition (list assignment, etc.). |
ReportingPOVSetting | This object type represents the POV setting of a report or folder (visibility, selection, etc.). |
ProjectSharedString | This object type represents in this context the name of the report or folder (generally any localizable text element). |
ProjectSharedStringValue | This object type represents the individual translations of the report or folder name for different languages. |
