Administering pending operations

Caution: Changes made in this dialog cannot be undone.

To administer database objects which are checked out, right-click the registration in the tree (there must be a connection) and select All Tasks > Pending Operations.

You may display the checked-out database objects as follows:

Buttons Description
Click the Sorted by User button to order objects by the name of the user, who checked them out.
Click the Sorted by Object Type button to order objects by their type.
Click the Expand button to display all elements.
Click the Collapse button to display only top level elements.
Click the Show/Hide Children button to display elements hidden in the default view.
  • Show: All objects are shown, even those without names, because they are, for example, an assignment between two named objects.
  • Collapse: Only objects are shown, which have a name.
Note: 

With the role Repository Administrator you may edit all objects. Users that are not a Repository Administrator can only administer the objects that they have checked out themselves:

In the dialog Pending Operations you use the following commands:

Buttons Description
Click the Accept All Pending Operations and Subordinate Pending Operations button to check in selected objects and accept changes.
Click the Cancel Operations and Subordinate Pending Operations button to check in selected objects and discard changes since last check-out.
Click the Show Properties button to show detailed properties of the selected objects or operations.
